Attribute Tracking

In larger spreadsheets with multiple sheets, keeping track of where all your DDM attributes have been inserted can become difficult. The List Attribute Locations feature provides a clear overview of every attribute in your spreadsheet and exactly where it can be found.

Opening the Attribute Locations Window

To view your attribute locations, click the List Attribute Locations button on the Snowman Design (DDM) toolbar tab. This will open a separate window displaying the following information:

Summary

At the top of the window you will find a summary showing:

  • The total number of attributes inserted across the entire spreadsheet.
  • A breakdown of attribute locations, showing how many attributes are placed in cells, headers, and footers.

Attribute Table

The main section of the window displays a table listing every attribute that has been inserted into the spreadsheet. For each attribute, the following details are shown:

  • Attribute Name – The name of the DDM attribute.
  • Location Type – Whether the attribute is in a cell, header, or footer.
  • Sheet – The name of the sheet the attribute is found on.
  • Location Details – The specific location of the attribute within that sheet.
  • Last Updated – The date and time the attribute was last updated.

Exporting the Information

If you need to save or share this information, it can be exported using the options at the bottom of the window:

  • Export as CSV – Saves the attribute list as a CSV file, suitable for opening in Excel or similar applications.
  • Export as TXT – Saves the attribute list as a plain text file.

To close the window, click the Close button.
