Update Attribute
The main purpose of the add-in is to keep any attributes you have inserted into your spreadsheet in sync with the values held within DDM. To support this, the add-in provides two ways to update your attributes: an automatic method and a manual method.
Automatic Update
The automatic update method can be configured in the Settings screen. Click here for more information on configuring this setting.
When switched on, the add-in will automatically update all attributes in your spreadsheet every time you open a document stored within DDM. Please note that this setting applies to all documents and is not specific to any individual spreadsheet.
Manual Update
The manual update method allows you to update all attributes in your spreadsheet at any time with a single click. When run, the add-in will go through all attributes stored within the spreadsheet, including those in cells, headers, and footers, and update them with the latest values from the DDM Properties File.
Once the update is complete, a confirmation message will be displayed to let you know that everything has been successfully updated.
To run a manual update:
- Click the Update Attributes button on the Snowman Design (DDM) toolbar tab.
- Wait for the process to complete.
- Click OK on the confirmation message.
